The CUE SIG and BizCom SIG are pleased to announce a call for papers from presenters at the 2019 ESP Symposium at Uchida Yoko Co. Ltd, Osaka Branch for the OnCUE Journal Special Issue. The expected date of publication is summer/fall 2020.
Articles to be considered from the conference:
● Research-based articles following a basic IMRaD structure
● Pedagogy-based papers that include current related-research in a literature review section with a clear rationale behind the choices made, and a discussion which links theory and practice
All papers are restricted to 1,500 words. Submissions are accepted only from 2019 ESP Symposium presenters. Papers will be vetted, then edited.
Language for submissions:
Papers should be submitted in English or Japanese. All authors are strongly advised to have their articles proofread by trusted colleagues before submission.
Manuscript Structure:
* Title: 50-character limit (excluding spaces)
* Author name(s), affiliation(s)
* Poster summary (75 words)
* Main text (1,500 words from Introduction to the end of the Conclusion)
* Author bios (50 words) with contact email as the last word
Format:
Notes: Do not use “running heads” in your document. Figures should be submitted separately in black and white JPG format (provide captions separately at the end of the manuscript). Tables should be submitted in a separate MS Word file. Tables and figures should not run over one page.
Ethics for Publication:
Papers submitted must be an original composition by the Author(s) which has not been previously published. Papers should also not be presently under consideration for publication elsewhere. For general information regarding Ethics for Publication, refer to

Deadline for submissions: Manuscripts must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019 (Tokyo time). Late submissions will not be considered.
